A River Of RedA single grey raindrop falls from the sky, landing upon his pale cheek. His eye twitches ever so slightly, his breathing slow and coarse, the stone floor like ice on his shoulder. The stillness surrounding his body is eerie, with nothing but moonlight to illuminate the small circular courtyard. A thick mist hangs, almost concealing his body, draped across the floor like the surface of a silvery lake, pure, untouched.
